well i did a little test fit and i think im either going to weld my wastegate flapper shut and buy a an external one or figure a way to mount the wastegate vacuum control thingy.the way i had it originally the turbo hit my tranny then i flipped it around and the wastegate control hit the tranny so i took it off and it fits good now so i would just need to clock the turbo again.

ya i will check it out in a sec.ya my 240sx downpipe hit my tranny with the downpipe on the driver side but i didnt check with the passenger side because i took it off before i flipped the turbo.

Don't forget to upgrade your injectors, the HX has a less fuel floe than the EX's, add a tune and enjoy your non-cali no need to smog fun!!!! I on the other hand have to wait till I can afford a smog legal kit....

Sorry to tap in so late but I have a Vibrant muffler and I had a shop custom make my 2.5 piping. Vibrant might be cheap but it sounds great and looks like a regular exhaust. I also have a vibrant cat because in Texas they do checks for them. Did you check out Go-Autoworks.com for the mani. I did not read the rest of your forum so sorry if I am repeating stuff that others said. I am going to read more now. Good luck with the build check mine out.

d nice- yep its just like that but it didnt fit on one side so when i test fit the turbo again with the turbo flipped i will see if it will fit that downpipe.yes i already have bought some fuel injector clinic 525cc injectors and i bought my ramhorn from go autoworks for $640

I have my elbow on the same side as the tranny. I took it to a exhaust shop and they put the rest of the down pipe in. Its not perfect but they got the bend so it would clear around the trans. It was like 100 dollars. If you can run the elbow the other way it would prob be better for engine temps even with the wrap.

I cant see any bolts to adjust the intake housing but it might be the pic. There should be a snap ring that you can adjust it with on the inside. You might have to take of the exhaust housing to get to it. I dont know if there are any other wastegate flanges on it if you adjust it.

well with the turbo the other way theres two problems first the downpipe hits where the torque mount is attached to the motor, then if i take that off the turbo hits the web castings in the block.i will probably fab up my whole exhaust one day when i get sick of my stock exhaust or i will order a vibrant system

Looks good man. I had mines up and running a lil bit now. 8psi feels good but i spiked to 12psi in higer rpm feels better lol, but i got all that fixed. Tuned and running 9.5psi daily.

On your dp it looks like it fits good and you can just take a hammer and hit the pipe or get a prelude slave as d~nice said.
And are you going to route the wg back into the downpipe?

ya i cant wait to have mine together. i dont want to have to bleed everything since thats a 2 man job and i dont have any friends where i live anymore lol. idk about the waste gate right now, probably just dump it in the bay for now then later on route it. since i dont have ac i can route my filter into my bumper to which is nice and roomy.

I would wrap that downpipe, just to help the temps a little. This is one of the good stories where some one stuck around and read stuff and listened. Good luck

gt's are great turbos
Lol umm did you even look to see what the turbo was? It's an eBay Oe replacement t25. Hopefully its not like every other eBay turbo

i believe there build better. mines had lines from where it was balance and read a fourm where a guy with an s14 brought on and made a road trip from Ny to Ca and it held up.

and 2x on heat wrap.
and 2x on bleeding the clutch. long clear hose and a bottle half filled with fluid always work for me.
