As much as it hurts being that i JUST finished the del sol, and havent even really been able to drive it becasue i got screwed on the tune which ended up blowing my motor. I decided to continue with this project, and part the del sol.

This project will be way cooler, and i think ill regret it later if i dont do this. Hoping to have some updates soon....

Update time! Went B series! I knew I wouldn't be completely happy with a stock D. I want this little guy to SCREAM. Hoping to achieve that better with the B16. Dropped off the car at my new fabricators house.. Much more hopeful with this guy. He's going to get started immediately. Hope to have some good updates soon!

Was gunna fix it but damn that fits I think. You should name it the wraith, if thats not too fem. :greddy:

Glad to see you stuck with this even if that means you broke another one to get here. Lookin forward to the updates from the new garage.

thanks guys, I can't wait either! trying to get this beast done by 12/31( well at least drivable). Getting married and really want this car in there!

Just found out the tranny is a YS1 LS tranny. I'm on the fence on if I should go with a ys1 b16 tranny or keep the LS.

I will be using some 13's with smaller tires, so the gearing will be a bit shorter, but by how much? Not sure.

the LS gearing should be fine, LS' have shorter boxes than EX/Si D series stuff and people always say it's "soooo long"

Picked up a header. EBay special. Actually looks pretty well built. Minus the cheap looking flange, I recommend it.

Not bad for 59.98 shipped!

New radiator and slim fan in. Going to try and stuff it towards the back under the car instead of running lines to the front. But we will see. Back of the car is hacked up and suspension is all out! No turning back now. Love that this guy is working fast and has some cool ideas.

The rear suspension is only held on by a few bolts. And it's teeeeeny wheenie.

More updates soon.

sorry to hear about the sol.

on the bright side this is a sweet build. you're doing a rear mounted B on a tiny honda. i can't wait to see the result's. what are you gonna do about the noise in the car with the motor being right at your elbow? you're gonna have a decent firewall/scatter shield or w.e in between you and the cabin area? i'd love to see some blue prints or something if there are any of the overall design of whats gonna be done if thats possible

i'm wondering whats gonna be more likely drifting or wheelies haha

sorry for delay, just saw this.

ya not too worried about the sol anymore. she just needs some new internals. i should be ok once things settle down, just a matter of time.

Yes there will def be a firewall behind the 2 front seats, i dont have blue prints. but ill post updates as we get there. as far as the wheelies, haha i hope not! seriously, i really hope not! although that would be fun to see.... :shifty:

thats right!

just need time :-/ which i dont have! haha
I know that one, which is why I have a built d15b2 sitting on a stand and a tired 267k d16z6 in my civic that I haven't driven in 3 weeks
