What's up man. It's been a while. Good to be back, Things seems pretty slow around here. Is it normaly this slow now a days? I got a sweet build on the go ill post up soon once I get some of the crazier stuff finished on it
lol, Keep in mind I am a shop, so most of that is stock, But I have had this shop now going on 15 years. Also I have equipment, boring bar, block hone, Rod hone, 2 surfacers, head shop, flow bench and all the other fun stuff.
But heads get rotated, after time on the shelf, some get gutted for parts, or just cored out and scrapped.
I have 3 K series short blocks just sitting.......
Exactly! I am concerned about noise/vibration though, which is what makes the whole water cooling so appealing.
Yea those graphics cards are a tough bullet to bite, I'm saving that for the last item due to price drops and what have you... Do you build PC's for friends and such? I haven't, and usually just fix broken ones to donate to schools in Philippines.
Did you do the wire sleeves yourself? Grainger sells rolls and etc.
Nice! I love the single sleeve wires! Your build kinda reminds me of Malik's stuff: https://www.facebook.com/MalikCustoms
I haven't had a "built PC" in a while; it was before any of the I-cores came out really lol (lost my pics also...). Been trying to get things in order before I start playing around with comps again. I was planning to do a MiniITX build with water-cooling before deciding to stick with modding cars.
Project Cars might push me to get a new rig together though! My current is an AMD A6, 16Gb Dominator Platinum, 840 Pro SSD, MSI 75A MOBO(can't remember). This is a programming computer from a cheap Newegg bundle a few years back, so it's pretty weak in the specs.
All good, if I happen to remember to check and see it's a site regulars b-day, I try to extend the well wishes....21, fun, last of the birthdays you actually look forward to lol, get ready, the years start flying by from now on
I've had good luck selling tires for nearly what I paid for them on Craigslist, if you have the budget, get the 50's, put'em on, and post the 60's for sale. Good news is they will fit a lot of mid size cars out there, Accords, Camrys, various domestic heaps, shouldn't be too difficult to move them.
Noticed you went 205/60/15, seemed odd to me as most people go 205/50/15...guess you wanted to drop rpms for higher mileage or just plain like a good hefty portion of sidewall in the same fashion some of us are into chubby chicks lol...still though, looks good man, SW388 style rims look great on our cars
