Hello Guys.
I thought that for reference it would be nice to keep a record of all the vitara builds and their power figures.
So im creating this post for people who have already built,raced and dynoed their Vitara builds to post their results..
I hope to create a Vitara piston Hall of Fame for members reference for them to see what to expect.

Please post only results..this is not a "my build thread"

Please post the following info and ill start updating the list:
Dyno Plot:
Basic setup: (Block/Head)
Connecting rod used:
Size of turbo and PSI used:
What chassis
Track times: (if available)

I will make a Vitara Hall of Fame list by Power figures and by Track times

1. JFK @ SpeedFactory -------> 609whp & 404 lbs/ft.. Stock sleeves 75mm 30 PSI Presicion 6262 .. Z6/Y8 .. EG Hatch
2. SpeedFactory (Customer)---> 487whp & 376 lbs/ft.. Stock sleeves 75mm .. GT3076R 32-34PSI .. D16Z6 .. unknown chassis

cant wait to see project lowball up on that list... already ran 11.6, and thats only on 11psi from a 50 trim. cant wait to put the race gas in and turn the boost up... WAYYYYY up :D

My best time 11.07 at 118 mph (letting off the gas)

I have a graph at 20psi on my smaller 48/60 and it put down 297 dynodynamics. I do NOT have a graph of my larger 48/63 22psi dynojet run at 341whp :( It was a run what ya brung 3 pull deal at a nopi show. Add it to the list?

Basic setup: Z6 block D15B head Y8 camgear
Connecting rod used: Eagle
Size of turbo and PSI used: T04B 48/60 V trim 20psi
What chassis: 95 Hatch full interior plus extra battery and amplifiers.
Track times: 7.80 @ 88mph 1/8th mile 12.6 @ 102mph (boost cut nosed over almost crashed) not a clean run.

it was just shy of 300 if I remember right. I think it was around 289? Like I said they didnt give a printout and it was only 20 bucks to run lol. they never announced TQ either but you know I was watching :)

wish i had a dyno sheet online of mine. the only one i have is on paper and not at the final boost or whp.
but great thread!

my cousin just finished got his setup on the dyno it's basic
75mm vitaras
fjt spec r rods
zex cam
aem cam gear
crowed springs/retainers
oem valves
blox IM
gsr throttle body
*********** 57 trim
obx ram horn
3inch exhuast
tuned on Crome on a dynojet
332whp 289wtq @ 25psi 93 octane
my set up is way more fine tuned with many upgrades I hope to see 400whp!!

Heres my graph. Set up is D16z6 long block, 75mm vitaras, eagle rods, RC Autoworks full ram, edelbrock intake, integra type r 62mm throttle body, zex 59500, zex valvesprings, supertech titanium retainers, stock intake ports, slight exhaust port work, skunk 2 cam gear, injector clinic 750cc, walboro 255, mongrel turbo( chinese center section and turbine wheel balanced with a turbonetics 57 compressor wheel and turbonetics compressor housing.) Chinese wastegate with 14lb 38mm and 5lb 35mm springs combined. Ebay manual boost controller. Tuned on 109.5 race gas to 28lbs but need to upgrade my ef chassis small fuel lines. Made 435 spinning the rollers and my tuner let off the gas due to leaning conditions at the same time. Best pass so far on wastegate 19 lbs 11.4 @ 122 mph.

im getting a boost controller here soon so i can up the boost and get a dyno plot up.

97 civic coupe
y8 block/head
vitara pistons .020
fjt custom i-beams
go-autoworks mini ram
3'' exhaust
bullseye 50 trim, .55 a/r
10psi
makes a little over 200hp, unsure of torque number.

best 1/4 mile track time is 13.8@102mph

Can you also put the weight down next to the time so that people have a better idea of what to expect at given power/weight ratios?

I was at 2300lbs on my setup.

Please add to the list:

Dr. D-series went quicker than me last year. I believe he has the quickest ET on a Vitara build.

Vitara Z6, 75mm
436 whp 340 tq
10.45 @132mph
Weight: ~2000lbs.

Will do... I will also post a link to the dyno sheet for ppl references..

So please everyone that posts results please add a dyno plot (if possible).. I dont want any BS flag raised for power figures ad i would like to document everything with proof.

If you dont know or dont have the means to upload then send the pic or file to me and ill upload it.
