Vacuum was 20 now is 15 is that normal?

I double check for hoses or vacuum leak but couldnt find anything... also my car sound a little less. d17a2 intake 7 and exha 9 is that a good adjustment..
also since the car is turbo should i change the 7-9 adjustment or not?
im planning on doing a fully build but im not sure which pistons to go with and please let me know what you think about the other parts..
1- crower cam.
2- crower valves & springs
3- aem adjustable cam.
4- crower rods.
I was thinking on CP pistons but a friend of mine said that they're not that good and another friend said they're the best.. wiseco, im not sure please help

thanks.

If they were a bit loose, tightening them up to spec can cause the engine to "feel more cam," so, that isn't really out of the ordinary. Are you sure you didn't adjust them too tight? How did you make sure you set them correctly? (I'm not trying to be an ass, I am just trying to find out what you methods were.) Did you re-check your specs after tightening the lock-nut? If not, that could be a problem.

1. Which cam?
2. Good stuff.
3. It's a decent piece, try to find one used. If I were buying new, I wold buy a Bisi cam gear.
4. Expensive, but very nice rods.

If I were spending money on pistons, it would probably be on Arias or Wiseco.

Eagle H beams are very nice, strong, and not that expensive. shit! i have a set! sounds like your valves are set too tight check them again make sure the engine is cold. your specs seem tight i would double check that. And i also use SRP slugs they are also very nice. i dont like to pay too much for anything!

i have never seen a stock cam do that after a valve adjustment.

gain vac, yes but very very few points of Hg. like 2.
lose vac, no.

but then again, every car doesnt respond the same to inputs for the internals......

Well thats probably what happen too tight.
.007 -.009 intake
.009 -.011 exhaust
I will try 8 intake and 10 exha.

I Did re-check the specs after tightening the lock-nut thats why it takes longer bc that lock nut moves the setting. Funny i did the same setting to my friends civic same year stock I/H/C and it did work great. well i cant really see the vac on his. however, my car runs better but I will re-set the setting.

thanks guys.
I check the Eagle web but they dont have anything for the d17. i have been looking and it seems like only crower makes parts for these cars..
so not many options...

too tight

When i switched out the cam in my B7, i adjusted them as i would have on a ford 5.0L pushrod...*wiggle wiggle* tighten slightly *wiggle* tighten a touch more *no more wiggle*, perfect. I have no problems. :)
