ok look on that pic, very top of pic on the back of the mani is the iacv- black looks kinda like a camera film canister. the y7 is a three wire iacv while the y8 manual is a two wire. y8 auto is three wire. y7 ecu will not control a three wire iacv. ive heard that if you swap the y7 throttle body onto the y8 mani, you can just plug the y8 iacv or just leave it unhooked(with itself becoming the plug). if you swap the y7 body, just rehook the three wire plug(i think the wires are orange black and blue) back up. then you swap the throttle spring and rotor from the y8 onto the y7 throttle body. and im not sure how yours will work, but in my setup(z6 mani) i had to purchase a y8 throttle cable since the throttle is now setup differently. oh and if you bought a 99-00 y8 mani, it probably has air injection holes, i think they need to be plugged. i know im forgetting something else, but i cant remember it. really just sit and think about it, maybe mock up the lines back on the y7 mani and compare to the y8 mani. you know find out what every line on the y7 is and does and then put it on the y8 mani. i literally put mine almost side by side when i worked on it. came out nicely. lastly, calm down a bit. i can literally picture you banging your head on the keyboard haha. you cant work without a level head and expect things to go smoothly. speaking from personal experience haha.
