Threaded IAT?

Does anyone know of a good threaded IAT that I can put into my charge piping? The sock IAT on my 96 DX Civic just sticks into a grommet, and I would assume it might pop out under boost.

pretty sure the b20's in the late 90's crv's had threaded iat's. i'm sure others do as well but that's one i know of.

you sure you're not leaking boost through that push in?

i just left mine out.

almost anything other then obd2, have a iat sensor that is a plate with twin screws. it a pita to pull them out with out having to pull the IM, if you plan on robbing one.

not pop out and not leak are two different things. but good to know someone has run the grommet style on a boosted setup before lol

i drilled a small hole in the coupler on the tb and shoved it in there. it is really tight and as far as i can tell it doesn't leak.

jb weld on the charge piping after the turbo on mine... works great. put it underneath so it will be hidden... also whoever said leave it out is plain retarded... how do you know what your intake temps are...??? its very important in a tune, so dont listen to him when he said leave it out...

thats one thing tuners look for is iat temps.... mine was 87* driving it hard, with 10psi of boost... so my intercooler was doing its job pretty well... very important to have a iat sensor.!
