Morty is still frozen to the ground BUT I did receive this ... USPS was confused. Carson, CA is approx. an hour from Ontario, CA so I had fun watching that go back and forth at least 5 times before someone realized it was Ontario, Canada.

I still need to buy Hondata though but at least my search for an ECU has come to an end.

SPRING has sprung!! I planned to work on it over the winter but didn't realize how badly that area got plowed in with snow. Aside from needing a new battery, everything looks good! No dead animal carcasses (minus the bird skeleton in front of my rad from the fall) and nothing smells like piss, so I would say this storage space is a good one for next year. Wish I was able to start on it earlier but we had one week of summer temps and then we had snow again... The weather here is stupid.

Dirty.. but none of my harnesses have been chewed through so that is a bonus.

Nice to see it again. It's been a long winter.

Other good news - I spoke with my insurance company who said that they wouldn't insure the car anymore due to its age (everywhere else wanted it to go through a full recertification process again) and they decided to reinstate my policy on the car and not need a certification so I am incredibly happy about that. I asked them if they are planning on dropping the car again in the future, to please give me a heads up and they said I shouldn't worry about it so... I am absolutely stupid excited about being able to put my buddy clubs on this summer and have some fun with it before I pull the motor in the fall for @Soul Engineering wu tang war whistle fun.

I finally found someone willing to ship to Canaduh!! A brand new QP Fuel pocket new from Honda so I don't have to cut one out of another car. I am thrilled. I should have it in a week and have all the necessary pieces. Hopefully, I will have some actual progress photos soon.

Good lord has it really been since 2023 since i have updated this thread? Ha. Whoops.

Let me see... What has happened since...
I started on the body work, front bumper and rear cleaned up, Hood is absolutely garbage so im just going to toss it. Ripped the whole interior out, floor looks okay but maybe a soft spot on the drivers side, no biggie. I did have it running last fall and then I blew a fuel line just before storing it. So I ordered new lines front to back, may as well.. they're old as dirt. The Drag DR20 wheels I had on, sold those pretty quickly and traded with a co worker some old scrap metal I had laying around for a set of wheels/tires that weren't good for the road but great for storage.

I did have some rodent visitors again but I tossed in a very generous amount of moth balls.. so hopefully it doesn't become a big issue again. It took a long time to get that smell out last summer. I am heavily debating a storage unit.. Maybe it'll be less likely a squirrel will make a home in there and little turds all over my dash board again.

OH! Best news.. I finally acquired my personalized plate! I had to fight for it though... but I did get it. Lets hope some bed wetter doesn't report it once I am on the road

The 4FF is 4cyl Front engine, Fwd but im definitely going to stutter everytime I read it from now on
