brake line fun in canada ..
pretty much when ever I pick up a used civic the first job is always a complete fuel and brake line replacement ..
cause they are almost always shittily patched hackjob ziptied and rusted to fuk.

is that turbo off a subaru?
funny flange and all?
I would only use it for a homemade setup if the turbo was next to free and had the sub exhaust mani to steal the flange from,,that's just me,,

d15b and d16z6 use the p08 head but it's looking like it's a obd1 jdm d15b with obd2 intake and oil pump.

spark maps would not be ideal with that ecu.
is there a knock sensor ?

Man, it has been SLOW at work this past week, so I used my 12hr shift wisely by detailing the car. It came out nice, proof that you can polish a turd. :sneaky:

I also brought in my Buddy Clubs and test-fit them on the front end and this is how it came out..

Have some poke going on. I am going to need to adjust the suspension for sure. I am thinking to raise the rear about half an inch or so, leaving the fronts alone... See how I do. It's pretty chilly here still, especially at night. Where is the heat... It's depressing. We've been in the single digits, low doubles at night the past little bit and then it just friggin monsoon rains for days.

Planning a Dragon run for 2024 with a few people - Perhaps @robgoof will join and bring all the poutine? I'll make you a mini poutine table for the trunk?

interesting..

take it from me ,,soak the fuk out of the screws ,,like two day bath ...they will either snap or they won't ..

light hammer action also.
or just break the sensor offf at the screws to get at the root rust,,

what is the code stamped on the head?

and cam gear depends on what cam is installed .

from looking you have a mutt engine if you are sure about having a y8 head installed.

looks pretty slick,

Is that a brand? Or an observation?

Just curious :)

You've definitely got one of the nicest examples of a Civic in Ontario I'm sure. Keep it clean, and people will continue to pay good money for em!
Nooooo!

:)

wow ,this is why I dislike todays parts changers,,even the most basic concept slips through their fingers.

make sure timing marks are correct set dizzy and you might even have to check their valve lashing ,I can picture the stupid people trying to change the belt,,I bet they even jacked on the oil pan when they took off the mount,,good thing its not steel...

Stamp says D15B.

so it's a d15b with a y oil pump then ..

if you haven't figured out your 02 ,just get the one meant for your car and ecu ..
