Simple turbo questions

hi.. simple questions that would be quicker to ask you fellas instead of googling...

1-Turbo gasket, down pipe gasket, Exhaust Manifold gasket-- Shall i use Gasket Sealant??
2-Bolting Turbo manifold to block-- Arm strength criss-cross or Torque wrench-__ ? pounds

3- Intercooler piping is bent in some spots (rocks gravel etc) - Safe to straighten and adjust with needle nose pliers?

1. no need for sealant
2. use the german way, goodntight
3. how bad are the "bent" parts of the charge piping?

no problem, its why im here.

and most of the time if i think its a stupid question or something been covered before a million times, i wont even respond lol.

You can get O2 sensor friendly silicon sealant, but it is not necessary unless you have to use a damaged gasket for some reason. With good gaskets and proper practices, sealants are just a waste and even as Dan says, a potential problem.

They also make it harder to reuse a gasket that has been installed with them if you have to do emergency repairs.

I don't use any gaskets on the turbo or after it... works fine for me
