As the topic says. Trying to up my Alternator idle power. It is aftermarket so would like to know if using a Y8 crank will work? Can't change the pully on the Alt it's not a option.... :nono:

Smaller pulley would be my first idea,not changing your crank out!! lol

I'm not sure if the part number but there is an OEM replacement alt that measures at 160amps. I've never had the pleasure of owning one but i distinctly remember bookmarking such an item back in my teens. It is a denso part.
