Are you running 190cc or 240cc injectors?
If I've made the obd1 conversion and start tuning this kind of setup, I probably started by putting 240cc, don'T you think ? :p

190cc would be max out since 5000rpm.

Hummm, I just finished my Y7 build and I was going to use this map but when I was looking through it I saw 240cc so I thought I would ask to make sure you didn't stick with the 190's.

It looks like I'm going to need some new injectors. :(

these 240cc are almost max out. they are about 90-91% of duty cycle.

I have some maps, My last one work very well if you need it :)

I have also some 240cc sitting on the shelf, I can send it to you, your about 5h from my home.

Thanks so much!

I took your map in this thread and did the fuel conversion to 190cc injectors and the duty cycle was over 113% haha. I'll PM you about the injectors, I'm really going to need a set. If you could attach a copy of your current map in a post that would be great!

I have many maps, I y7 running y8 manifold and other skunk2.

Let me know when you're ready.

Thanx

My setup is:

  • Y7 Block
  • Y7 head
  • Y7 Cam gear
  • PG6 pistons (11.8:1 comp)
  • Delta 272
  • Z6 intake manifold

Witch ever map is closest to that. I know I'm definitely going to need to tune it but I'm sure the map will get me in the ball park. Are the spare injectors you have OBD2 or OBD1?

My injectors seems to be from 96-00, but obd1 and obd2 are the same 240cc. Only obd0 differ.

I will give you my map,

my setup is:

- d16y7 block
- pm6 pistons + head mill of .025 (around 11.1CR)
- bisimoto level 2 cam
- y8 + 60mm tb

It should work fine on your setup, perhaps not good as we tuned your car directly but the basemap will work.

Ignition isn't so agressive, Since last map I've made some test, and make better slope with ignition around 2000 to 4000rpm, I gave it too much and start bugging and no power. I lowered it a bit, and made a better ignition curve, well it go much better. You could play a bit with your dizzy if it knock or seems to need a bit more or less timing, fuel are around 14:1 in high vacuum and 13,5:1 in 11'' to 0.3psi.

Have fun :)

LOL you still have'nt fixed that dang hole yet? :)
I've fixed ignition curves, and run much better, I've tried with more or less fuel, I run better with this hole. I don't care about how the graph look, I care about how the car is running :p

I'm on my phone. Will someone post a screen shot of fuel and ignition please. I would like to review a little if at all possible since my fucking laptop won't hook up to the net!

im liking the timing. :td: ....but that fuel dip is making me mad. LOL
Me two, but it's only a graph nobody see them when you're drving the car. :p

Ignition is supposed to be progressive a bit with rpm, fuel might have more curve. I also tried to put higher ignition at lower and higher rpm, engine was almost diying, no power out of it. Also tried at lower and higher vacuum no more sucess, I think I've find a good one this time. I would get for sure better results on dyno wiht EGT gauge, but with wideband, datalog, butt dyno, It's think it's not that bad.

I've tried some mixes, and like this last one, linear power, even the fuel dip.
