What's up fellas, I need some help with ignition timing top end when it comes to tuning on Hondata s300. Currently, the car has a completely stock d16y8 with a 60 trim ebay turbo, 1000cc Injectors, on a hondata on full E85. Never really had prior experience tuning before, but I know a decent amount, but when it comes down to numbers with ignition stuff, I get a little hesitant when it comes to tuning. The car is running at 9PSI at 9 degrees top end, I know too little can be dangerous so this is why I want to know if this is in a good spot. Car feels great, pulls real nice but I don't know the extent on how much timing I should be giving the car considering these motors are only safe for 230ish. I realize that I'm suppose to be taking it to a dyno to see exactly how the car reacts, but I just wanted a little insight on what normally should be considered safe. Please don't hate me If this is a repeated thread but I just couldn't find the exact answer on this subject. Thank in advance!

You need to get on a dyno to really know what tweaks to make either way.

If it hasn't grenaded on 9PSI yet, then cross fingers until you get to the dyno so you can see how much power it is actually making, or turn the boost down. Leave ignition adjustments alone until then.

Why such stockness with the ass assault of all of that hardware? Doing the build later?
