i pmed him just havent heard back yet. so i didnt know if he would even have them since i cant find them anywere. not even on ebay! thats what made it odd.

 

i have been very intresed in these too. how much do they cost for a d series one? i cant seem to find one for sale any. do u have to buy them used now adays?

also what are the chances of getting one are they still made?

 

it's gonna be a custom made pan, cuz no one has gotten us any.... :/

 

yup thats what i was worried about. ok ill just looking to modding my stock oil pan to keep the oil pick up submerged at all time and run a oil cooler to get the extra volume

 

there's still some in some in circulation but it's a hit or miss finding one. also there's always a second option the OBX pan. but i do know ppl need to understand something:

it's not about keeping your oil cooler or your pick up submerge but about the sloushing of the oil form one side to another while turning into corners, you know gravity. so now matter how much oild you hav or how submerge you oil pick is. if you tur ad all your oil goes to the leftside on a turn you can suck up air for a cunt hair of a second.

 

thats what i mean. so if i can find away to keep the oil pick up submerge at all time(with baffeling) even in the sharpest corners it wont take in any air and i should lose the problem of oil starvation in shape turns. and the extra volume(in the cooler) is just an added bounes

i have seen it done a few times ill try and find some pics of it. you just add some v shaped baffels and some other standing up baffels. its hard to explane maybe i can find the pics

Summit carries them and the Canton Racing ones.

 

show me a link to a moroso on summit for a d16. they only have b series one.

Go canton. Cheaper, and it looks groovy

 

Haven't seen a pic of the Moroso pan in a while, but that Canton is just a modified OEM pan by the looks of things.

I was always under the impression that the moroso oil pans weren't worth a shit...that they had flaws from the factory and that they warped and leaked after time.
