I was bored and compared my sedan 4.0fd tranny versus the 4.2fd cable si and I might aswell just use my 13's. Definately going with the 4.9 final drive. Not even worth me buying a si trans.

 

90-91 EX Sedan 4.058 FD vs. Si 4.25 FD is not worth it.

20x6x14 slicks FTW! Cheaper and quicker than a FD swap.

4.25 FD on stock tires is same as 4.83 FD on 20" tall slicks, but slicks get better traction!

 

nothing at all when you have 3-4 ZC gearing sets laying around and all i do is just swap the gearings. but the 4.250FD i like if i can only get my hands on a 4.4FD or a 4.5FD.

 

ZC gearset going within next 3 days with new FD... Saweeeeeeeet :twisted:

 

so the final drive in my '00 CX tranny is 4.058? and the rest of the gears are the same?

 

DX trans w/ a 20" slick

 

Not sure about a dx but do not get a cx tranny, they are junk and extremely long gears. I used to have one on my mini me setup was running 12's in the 1/8, switched to an ex and ran 10/9 on the same track, same wheels, just different tranny.
