so i got a 97 ITR r/lca for free so i went over to some of the other forums just to see what th fekt about putting an ITR on a 88-00 Crx/Civic. of course all the idiots came out with every reason why it will and won't work. it wasn't till i pulled out pics that they shut the fuck up and started to say but, but, but. so i guess the proof is in the pudding. so i thought i would take pics of the Si rear lower control arm side by side a ITR rear lower control arm. here what i found. now i will say this i want ITR r/lca so i can run a full coilovers, not shocks w/springs but Koni w/ CG coilovers is also an option.(but not for me).

EDIT: i couldn't edit my first post with links cause i've exceeded my links. lol. so theyt're on my post below.

now i want o stated that they're both the same legthen from the center of the sub frame bolt to the center of the trailarm 34cm/13.5in. now the sway bar eye sits in the sam place same height. but is different is tthe level od the shock bolt on the ITR vs the Si. on the ITR it even w/the subframe bolt and the trail arm bolt. now the Si the shock bolt sit lower about alittle over 1". so using the ITR lca isn't the problem. but since it's higher and you don't do any type of adjustment you will end with postive camber... not good. so w/a camber kit and/or adjustable coilover this is only a small problem.

both the lca were the same length, width but the only thing that was different was the shock bolt on the ITR it sits the same leve as the other two bolt holes, but on the Si it sits lower by a little over 1". hence all i would have to do is adjust the springs. and as some like to say the ITR is "beefier" lol.

I've been running ITR LCA's for years... FYI, the The 88CRX has the SAME LCA's as the ITR...
Check out my VBpic gallery... My 94 coupe's rear suspension (before I put the ASR brace on it...) with a 3"SS exhaust and ITR Rear Sway bar. Everything fits with no rubbing and no clearance issues!
