Yea Its open at idle and when (light throttle) cruising in vacuum, It has excellent response, if u have a problem with surge while shifting, at any point, this is the bov to have.

 

The NRG I believe will only fit 92-95 civics but I will look it up for you.

two small screws on either side, they are kinda small but I was told they can be drilled out, but I never had a problem with them coming loose, it is still on their, nice a tight like ur lil' sis use to be, lol j/p mang.
