my 2001 civic ex has been in limo mode for like 6 months now i have bought 3 denso ckp sensors and replaced the pigtail connector and still hasn’t fixed the problem i have cleared the codes and the only other code is p0141 for the 2nd o2 sensor, can i bypass this at the ecu or what should i do i just want to drive past 3,500rpm

forgot to say the p0141 is because my exhaust doesn’t have the second o2 port

Nice stretch.

i have bought 3 denso ckp sensors and replaced the pigtail connector and still hasn’t fixed the problem
I promise a 4th sensor won't fix it.

i have cleared the codes
What were the codes it had? These are important for further diagnostics.

the only other code is p0141 for the 2nd o2 sensor, can i bypass this at the ecu or what should i do i just want to drive past 3,500rpm
This code will not cause limp mode, and no, there is no bypassing the O2 heater monitors in OBD2 land without a KPRO.

forgot to say the p0141 is because my exhaust doesn’t have the second o2 port
Then get a hole drilled, and a bung welded for your rear sensor to have a place to live!

it’s a manuel swap
Damn Mexicans, always swapping cars.

Is the TCM still plugged in?
Are you still using the automatic ecu?
The auto ecu absolutely puts it into limp mode when it doesn't have all the correct sensors for the automatic system.

edit: slo beat me to it.

Can't help you.
I'm a specialist in Subaru swaps and slowwwllyy becoming a specialist in EF civics. I do not have ECUs memorized, much less how many pins each individual plugs have.

You can, however, drop the ecu by unbolting (w. or w/out the plugs disconnected, don't know if it is possible) and search up the ecu code to see which it is.

I DO know with 90-ish% confidence that you either have an automatic ecu, or the wiring is missing a ground/connection that lets it know it is a manual ecu, therefore putting the ecu in limp mode. On Subies, you ground a specific pin, then BAM - manual.

EM2 civics? No idea.
