is this right?

tranny is cable type. original tranny of the d16 is fluid

i recently had an engine swap. because of some issues with mounting and the vss, we decided to use my old tranny instead.

im seriously having difficulty shifting. even if i push the pedal all the way.

haven't checked the fluid level yet. but afaik i just changed the gear oil not long ago.

a mechanic told me that clutch sets for 1600cc engines are different than that for 1300cc's

How about adjusting the cable tension. When I first got my car you couldn't hardly get into first. One new stage 1 exedy clutch and flywheel later I find out all I had to do is adjust the cable DUH!!! Flywheel and clutch are sitting in my attic still waiting to this day.

what im asking is did i do it right?

i installed a cable type d13 tranny into a d16y8 motor. because im having difficulties shifting.

i adjusted it slightly. i turned the knob counterclockwise. somehow it improved.

oh btw i used the d16 flywheel with the d13 clutch & pressure plate.
