Got a helluva deal on a slightly used Tsudo catback for my 98 hatch. (guy spent twice as much for an apexi to replace it) Anyway, I am building a custom turbo/y8 that I will install when all the pieces are together. For now, I want to install the catback with my stock y7 that is still in the car. I only have a turbo manifold. (no aftermarket header) Will the catback bolt up to my stock exhaust manifold? Couldn't even get a smart-ass answer from that "other" forum. Hopefully someone here can answer my question. Thanks in advance.

it would bolt up the the cat converter not the manifold, and yes i don't think their will be a problem.
If the exhaust was designed for a car equipped with a Y7, it will bolt up to the bottom of the stock downpipe. If however, it's a JDM or similar design for a B-series equipped hatch, it will be about a foot short and you will need a Civic EX style cat.
my guess is that exhaust came off a car that has the cat placed under the car, not under the hood like on a y7.

If he had an aftermarket header, he either relocated the cat underneath (or test pipe) or simply has no cat if the exhaust is long enough.
