That rear suspension asm looks cool, I like the car, the engine choice, the work. So good when fabrication can happen on site and we get to build our cars. Keeps getting better and better.........no pressure lol.

Coming along nicely I see. I can't wait to see what the motor is going to look like in the car!

EDIT: What are plans for building a "firewall" for the new engine area, any kind of sound deadening to help with noise in the cabin. You could have the air filter cone sticking right between the seats to make it real noisy.

Thanks man, me neither. Moving a little slower than I expected, but at least it is moving! Plans are to create a removable firewall out of sheet metal that covers the motor and angles down to the floor. It will probably still be really loud, but it will serve its purpose. Had an idea to possibly put the air filter on the outside of the top corner of the cover, but not sure if I want all of that noise, would look pretty cool though. We will see.

Layer the whole bay with sound deadening material and the cover as well and make a overlap with a seal to help with the noise. You can look at how some of the full size vans design their doghouses to give you an idea. It doesn't have to be super loud but it may add about 20lbs to the project but if you're like me I'm skinny enough to afford 20lbs in the car.

You'll want the deadner in more for heat than noise. I used to clean carpets and the damn machine was right behind the seats. Hot as hell because we didn't have a thermal barrier between the engine and the seats.

Words to live by. People get their own thoughts in there, accidentally some times, and yours can get lost. Hopefully you aren't too bad off because of it hommie, love this project.

Went to drop off some parts, build has been on pause due to some suspension mounting issues. We are trying as hard as we can to not notch out the firewall. He will be making J arms instead of using stock A arms, this way we can clear the firewall. but i had to some heims joints nline so it has taken some additional time.... saw the car sitting on its own for the first time in a while! its not a roller as suspension is not all together, but it sits an all 4 corners!
