motor code of the ZC vtec is simply "ZC"

its just like puting a z6 head on a y8.. same casting.. only difference is the cam

 

reading another post and was wondering about the zc vtec head? whats the motor code it comes off of as well as another question. building an all motor for a buddy of mine as i type this. I as well as he:TU: was wondering if it would drop on a y8 block with no problems. any other items needed to drop it on would be helpful as well. thanks to all for your previous and new info and opinions. it really fkn helps.

I'm running that same setup without problems (Z6 head on top of a Y8 block with pm7 pistons). It just needs some tuning to be done on it, but runs great ever since.:TU:
