its the piece that is right beside the hose to the right of the iac valve. it is a round black cap. mine broke off and now is wide open. what does it do? can i just plug it to fix it? or does that cap do something special? i know the picture really sucks but the batteries was dying...lol

that would be either a map sensor or a purge selenoid, replace it or your car wont run correctlly
well in the picture you can see the map sensor mounted to the top of the throttle body. so it is the other thing you mentioned?
yea my bad, i was having a brain fart and couldnt think straight. It is the evap pourge selenoid. It allows fuel vapors to travel into the intake mani when the car isnt warm. The ecu controls it. I suggest replacing it, otherwise ull have a shitty idle until the car warms up.
