I wanted to know if the pistons from a d16 can fit in a d17? The reason why is that I want the added displacement and vtec! The d16 has vitara pistons in it! So I wanted to know if the can fit?

All the differences:
D17 rods are narrower on the big end.
D17 crank has a larger snout
D17 crank pulley has a larger bore
D17 oil pump has a bigger bore to accommodate the bigger crank snout
D17 alt pulley is wider
D17 alternator is also offset differntly
D17 belts are different
D17 A/C compressor and bracket is offset
You still haven't explained exactly what you are trying to achieve... Which is?!
