lmao!! my friend bought it for his '00 coupe, and it ran well, but obd1 in obd2 car didnt wanna swap it so he bought a y8. it sat in the garage for a year and a half now ish. told me i could take it for 100, and i thot about it then he called me yesterday 50 bucks and its mine. and no its actually an obd1 DOHC ZC

well, i plan to it in my car, and go boost. and have a fun DD that I can keep up with my buddies who have boosted nissans lol

hahah, well i did, but i had to research more, and i had gotten some ideas together, i was gonna post my plans/ideas tomorrow when i pull the head off. im gonna start polish the ports tomorrow night. I was planning on forged rods and pistons for the bottom end, b series cam gears, and bore out the cylinders .5mm if they need it.

I was gonna get it a long time ago but didnt bother until he said he needed to get rid of it asap for the hoist he's putting in his shop otherwise it was going to the scrapper

so I've planned on not porting but just polishing the ports. I would like to get eagle h beam rods, these 75.5mm pistons SRP 149204 Forged Dish Pistons 75.5mm Bore - SRP Pistons - Pistons | CNC Motorsports | Car Parts | Truck Parts | Competition Engines and bore each cylinder out .5mm. the pistons are 30mm with a dome of -3.30mm, and i will mill the head 0.035 in. and use 0.037 in. mls hg to get a static compression ration of 9.51:1.

what are your thoughts on those ^ ?

well tried to get the head off, having trouble getting those pieces that hold the cams in out, i got all but one of the exhaust ones out and couldnt even get the intake ones loose.

pretty sure buddy used used dump truck oil in this motor loool!!! atleast its chevron delo 400 15 40

 

got the head off tonight after work, and the wires to the sensor that bolts into the head broke

one of the head bolts were rusty, some of them just covered in oil, and some were dry.
