what do i need for a ZC head swap on a D-block? cause lookin for a EG, EF or

Del Sol and i want to build a boosted d block with a DOHC ZC head! ive seen it

done before so im just curious of what it would take! water pump, timing

belt, tensioner, head gasket, etc.? thanks!

You don't need a dohc block assuming that you mean a SOHC ZC.

If you want to put a SOHC ZC on an A6 block, then you need to do nothing because they're the same. (arguably)

Name the block you want to put it on. That will help with answers.

Sorry for my previous post. I could have SWORE he just said ZC, not DOHC.

There was a guy on here from New Zealand who put a DOHC on an A6. It was a hell of a lot of work. I think he did it mainly just to do it.

The headstuds don't line up. That's the main hurdle IIRC.
