Engine y8 bottom and z6 top
The reason I'm running y8 bottom I will be using y8 oil pump and pan.
(currently have two dip sticks looks dumb) z6 & y8

I will not boosting right away just building a block.

So far this what i have,
Arp head studs
vitara pistons
eagle rods w/ arp bolts
walbro 255
King bearing kits
330 cc injectors

3)do i need a cosmetic headgasket? if not what should i use?
4) Block guard needed?
5) what kinda of number should expect with a good tune?
6) what would be a good cam?

I made 300whp with a custom JGE engine dynamics intake manifold(Z6), 750cc injectors, stock fuel rail, stock headgasket(Y8 ), JGE engine dynamics regrind cam(85VT35, I think)(Z6), block guard.

Y8 Block
Z6 Head(JGE engine dynamics Pro series head)
T3/T4 turbo on 17psi

Forget the blockguard, waste of money, as well as the cosmetic headgasket(had 2 fail on me). I'm learning from my first built and doing it right this time.
