Bear with me here. This is my first time actually putting a head together from a pile of parts so bear with me.

I got it to the point of cam and seal in the engine, springs and valves are ready. I went to put the rocker assembly back on, that too isn't a big deal, however i noticed that the intake side is very movable and swings nice and freely.

My exhaust side seems a bit tighter. As in i can move it with my hands, but they do not swing with the same relative freedom as the other side. Is this normal or is something wrong with it. do i need to pull it apart and clean it up or just work more oil into it? Or in my noobishness just unaware that they are like that normally.

if its an idiot question i apologize, but i searched around and went through the DIY's i've been using to put the head together and don't really have anything conclusive on this.

ok i think it was a dumb question, got it bolted back together and lubed up and it seems pretty smooth.

You need to do a valve lash adjustment once you get everything together
