Don't know witch head to use for my bottom end.
I have almost every d series head in my garage lol
I've read z6 flows good up top but suffers down low
What's the real cfm numbers, I want flow baby

BadGuysWorldwide did a D series head comparison. They post flow numbers pre and post porting.

flow numbers dont show the real numbers under PRESSURE. Flow metrics can give a good indication of port comparison to each of the 4 cylinders though

the nonvtec d16a6/d15b2/d15b7 head will outflow those 2 after a proper port job, but not necessarily give the best horsepower.


heck, you can cut and port the ports as wide and tall as possible, does not mean you are gonna have a strong powerband.


Velocity is FAR more important than overall max flow.
