I have done a lot of reading on this build and I'm not sure it is worth the trouble. but if i go through with it:

will my y8 crank fit in the z6 block?

i believe the z6 was obd1, what do i do about the sensors since i am keeping the obd2 (tuning with the aem ems)

besides the head stud problem, is there anything else that will cause me problems?

The z6 has a compatable bottom end. The crank shaft fluctuation sensor can be bypassed with a simple trick and knock sensor can be installed. The y8 isn't a bad motor but after honda decided to make oiling more efficient it doesn't do that well after repeated abuse. It has its own set of oiling problems
