Alright, this is my plan build, let me know what i need to add or do in order to get this running properly. My goal is at least 350whp-400whp. All this is going into a 93' Civic DX currently with the d15b7 and hydro tranny. I want to make this a street, DD car(summer time only), but with the occasional drag racing on the weekends.

-D16y8 Block
-Vitara pistons
-Hastings rings
-Eagle Rods
-Need a new oil girdle(anyone point me in the direction of one?)
-Racing oil pump

-D16y7 Head(free)(same as the a6?)
do i need to worry about the vtec port on the block? or do i need to plug it?leave it?
-Turbo cam(Crower stage 2?),
-ferra or skunk2 springs
-ferra retainers
-ferra valves
-ARP headstuds
-OEM headgasket or MLS?
-Port and polish or just port

-Spec clutch (or whatever you guys suggest that isn't going to be a million dollars)
-LSD(unsure of which one)
-Checker axles with a warranty to snap them all the time if possible.

-MSD Ignition with blaster coil and wires?
-NGK colder spark plugs gapped to .003?

-Ramhorn style manifold or Hf manifold(free) with adapter plate.
-Garrett t3/t4? A/R .42 Exhaust .48(free), water and oil cooled, not even sure what turbo this is, the exhaust housing is wierd where it connects to the manifold. Do i need a bigger one?
-walbro 255lph fuel pump or walbro 255hp pump?
-2.5" intercooler piping?
-FMIC (obviously)
-3" exhaust all the way back with no cat? to big?
-delta or synapse wastegate
-greddy or synapse bov
-Chipped p06 with crome(haven't decided yet)
-Rc 750cc Injectors
-AEM fuel rail
-SS fuel lines?

-Boost, EGT, Wideband A/F, oil pressure autometer gauges
-Turbo timer
-A normal sized tachometer

-Eibach lowering springs and shocks
-Drag 15x7" rims with nitto tires

-Some body work to get rid of the rust
-body kits are gay...no offense to anybody that has them, just not me
-Vinyl on my front bumper "it's just my radiator"
-Vinyl on lower side "SOHC NOTEC"

Anything else i'm missing?

Thanks in advance!!!!!!!

If you need a new girdle the blocks done. Just find a new one to start with. The Y7 head is closer to a Z6 head with out VTEH and Y8ish ports.

the motor threw a rod but the girdle cracked and chipped and so did the cylinder wall on i believe cylinder 3, but thats where i would be notching on the walls, the block is clean and can still see the cross hatches and still looks feasible?

By the time you get a new girdle and have it line bored/honed to mate to the old block it would be cheaper to get a good block to start with.

-Checker axles with a warranty to snap them all the time if possible. What's your time worth? Probebly more than replaceing axels.

-MSD Ignition with blaster coil and wires?Don't need it
-NGK colder spark plugs gapped to .003?Car won't fire with that tight of a gap.

Post pics, but probebly a Mopar T3. Good, but not great.

Basicly it's the same as when you have the cylinders bored. It's done to make sure the bearing saddles are in line and properly sized. Cost isen't cheap, but i haven't gotten a price in years.

Y7 might, Z6 might. Best bet is to get a Y8 one and keep it simple. Either that or spend $50 and get a Z6 block and crank.

Wow, I can go to the pick a part and it's like $160 out the door, any 4 cylinder whole motor.
