They don't exist.

3.722, 4.058, 4.250 are your OEM options.

Trying to run a 88-91 3.89 will result in 5th gear hub stripping the on the countershaft. Been there done that with a 3.722 in a hydro box.

A 3.722 should work ok should it not? I have a d16y8 with the S40 gearbox, need to change the ratio as it’s going in an Austin Mini with 13” wheels

96-00 CX 3.722 would fit, esp with the 20" tall tires. That would make it fell like a 4.25 FD with normal sized Civic tires. With the long .702 5th the 92-00 4.058 is an option as well.

What about a 3.7 FD X a 1.00 5th straight cut.. in a hydro box?

Got about 400whp behind a borg warner efr ..

3.25 FD with a long 2nd ..was my favorite. Only shift once per race..
