Soak it in some top engine cleaner. I picked up a pos head a few years back and that did the trick.

carburetor cleaner works very well, the kind in gallon cans, not the spray can.

westley's bleche white works wonders on grease as well.

carb cleaner and a soft wire brush. don't use the brush on the smooth surface of the rocker arms though. or you could get them sandblasted like i am gonna do, i will keep you updated on that if you want.
