I'm sure someone will come along and flame me if I'm wrong, but I'm almost positive that you can't put an OEM d-series piston on an aftermarket rod because of the wrist pin diameter (with the exception of the gx piston). So new rods = new pistons. Besides, if your build actually requires new rods, then pretty safe to say that you should invest in new pistons as well.

well they arent stock pistons they are srp and im getting them used already on the eagle rods i just want to know if since they are for a d16a6 will they work in a d16y8 with no problems
