So I was looking over builds for nitrous and a 300 shot would be too much for my low budget single cam. I really want to boost the car now and Keep the a/c (Bitches love A/C) so I would like to know if i would be able to keep a/c if I get the cxracing turbo kit and use a go autoworks a/c compatible cast manifold?

I know ebay kits are bad but ive seen a few good setups with the kit and they seem to be reliable.

GO-AUTOWORKS Honda/Acura Cast Iron Turbo Manifolds B16 B18 D15 D16

The mani should be ok for 400whp right?

The Go-Autoworks manifold will work with A/C. The other thing you have to keep in mind is the size of the turbo, if it's big enough it might not clear the A/C compressor. It also sometimes takes some creative pipe routing (take a look at my build thread to see what I'm talking about). It all depends on a lot of factors, size of the turbo, where it sits in the bay, and how talented you (or your tuner/fabber) are.

400hp? U know the block will need buliding.
Also kinda pointless to get the cx kit when ur changing out the manifold and downpipe. You might as well get ur get part by part. Also I wouldnt used the ebay t3 for 400hp, maybe 200somthing - 3somthing. 400 is pushing ebay turbo limit.

you can get a decent turbo set-up cheap....you just have to do some searching

go to the top of the page and just under the site sponsor advertisment is a little box, type "a/c turbo" and up will come many links to the answers you seek

for the price of an ebay turbo you can pick up an hx35, id rather rock a holset that can be beaten and abused for 500,000 miles thn a turbo known to fail sooner rather than later.....but hx and a/c i dought will work

your gonna have to spend some money to get a turbo that is efficient enough to support 400whp and small enough to fit w/ a/c i think your looking at a duel ball bearing garret gt series....maybe a gt30 .....turbo alone is 1400 or so....

b4 you keep wasting our bandwidth please do some searching before you make another thread

just because it will fit, doesn't mean it will work, lol
a big turbo up against your ac condensor and dp nuzzling your compressor means the air coming out of your vents won't be very cold.
