wierd sound from the engine

im getting like a continos clic-clic-clic sound from the engine when its on idle i dont remeber hearing it before i bought the car used ive had it for 5 months now has 106k anyone know what this sound might be? trying to figure out if something gonna break or what...

Adjust your valve lash. Go to sears and get a feeler gauge. .007" intake and .009" exhuast.
