Hey guys, new to the forum and very excited to be a part of it.
I have a question regarding wideband 02 AFR gauge options.
I have a wideband O2 and a wideband controller but no AFR Gauge. I am running Neptune RTP and am aware that i can wire my controller into the ecu and use neptunes gauges. I am wondering if anyone has ever used a voltmeter as an AFR gauge? I am under the influence that the controller sends out a 0-5DCV signal and the gauge converts that to AFR. If I were to hook up a voltmeter to the controller output is there any way of converter the 0-5DCV to Accurate AFR readings? Hoping to be able to read the voltmeter and tune based on those numbers. Any help is appreciated as i am a beginner in this area. Thanks alot in advance.

if you can program the wb controller output voltage .yes
will be linear but you'll have an idea of whats up.

0.8v=8:1af
2v=20:1af

but who would do that anyway ?

The wideband controller manufacturer should publish what the 0-5V thresholds represent. My controller is set at 0V=10:1 and 5V=20:1, with everything in between just an interpolation.

Once you know those and plot out the AFRs of interest, you should be able to take what the voltmeter is reading and begin to correlate that with a particular AFR.

What controller do have? Do they not offer a gauge for it?
