You are not going to believe this. I was driving down the road and my rear motor mount bolt came out. I realized when my shifter was moving everytime I shifted. Man I was pissed. But I put a new bold in and all is good. Has this happened to you?

I was driving my old DA down the highway one day and I heard a clank then a bolt flew up on my hood and spun for about 10 seconds then fell off. Never figured out what it came from or how it ended up on the hood. Same car I was driving about 60 miles from home, I hear a rattle then something bang under the car. I pull over and check everything out, and again I never figured out what it was.

Took my SAME DA to my friends house right after I got it to clean it up and fix its issues. The shiftlinkage bitch pin was replaced with a bolt so my friend was putting a new pin in it while another was working in the engine bay. He took the filter off that was stuck on the throttle body. While the filter was off he set a small wrench inside it.... Well everything got put back together and after I left I decided to run it through the gears to see how the shifter felt since it had been lose. I turn and smash the gas when suddenly all hell broke loose..lol. Apparently the turn shifted the wrench in the filter which wedged the throttle wide open and as soon as i shifted the bitch pin came out.. Wide open throttle and broken shifter FTL.

I was missing both bottom 19mm bolts on the T-bracket once. forgot to tighten all my lugs after a LONG work night, found out the next morning on my way to pick my friend up. and epic fail... my crank pulley fell off when I went to gun it one day. good news was I had a d15b7 crank pulley, bolt, and woodruff key sitting at the shop which was a good thing since I recently deleted P/S.

It was probably drilled out to fit the bolt that was in it. Seen it happen.

Exact same thing happened to me lol!! (well kinda) The exhaust didn't get me stuck, i was havin so much fun i didn't notice it. The trucks kinda loud anyway, but on the way home i looked over at my buddy and asked him if he thought it had gotten noisy in here, and we pulled over and sure as the world from the exahust manifold back there was not any exhaust left lol.

No they do not. Should have done it myself. They actually work on cars everyday and are good at what they do, I guess it was just one of those days..

A friend had his alternator fall off one night while he was racing..that was exciting
Holy crap, that must have been loud.

Worst I got was A/C compressor clutch seizing up, throwing it out and under the car. Sounded like someone threw a bag of marbles in my bay.

Thought the same thing happened the other day, but it was just the nut for the idler pulley. That one was my fault.. I stopped and found the pulley itself just bouncing around between the crank pulley and the compressor. Time for locktite! ha ha I'm a bigger and bigger fan of that stuff as time goes on and parts get removed & installed.

my exhaust rusted away at the connector just before the muffler (sounded pretty sick when it was off), and the way honda put it, it just sat in my suspension set up, not hitting anything and not dragging, god i love hondas, lol.

one time i was out in the field in my s10 and came up over a ridge, my back driveshaft snapped at the front u-joint, and it drove into the ground, twisted, snapped, and fucked up my whole back suspension. luckily i had a parts truck. took me about a day to fix everything, but it only cost me the cash for a new set of needle bearings for the u-joints and some diff oil, plus paying my cousin to trailer my ass home haha.

Exactly!

Mine fell out one night when I was driving home. I did not tamper with mine. It happens and it sucks.

I have a Fidanza flywheel on my 99 Ford Escort ZX2. About 2 years ago at random times I could hear this slight rattling coming from the transmission area. Come to find out 2 of the 3 dowel pins that align the clutch to the flywheel had come out and were being bounced and rattled around inside my transmission. I guess one of the dowels pins got going fast enough and shot out through the transmission making a one inch hole in the case. So, needless to say, I lost that dowel pin forever, haha.

Good outcome though. Contacted Fidanza and they had never heard of that happening to one of their flywheels before. They also paid for the labor to remove my transmission and sent me a brand new flywheel. Awesome company! The clutch was all dinged up on the outside, but I reused it and am still running it to this day. Had the hole on the tranny case welded and put it back on the car. I have a few pictures of this somewhere. I'll have to dig them up.
