I recently got a D15b Vtec motor to put into my EF Hatch. While the motors' out I want to replace the t-belt, water pump and tensioner. I was wondering what timing belt I should use for the motor, a VX belt or a D16z6 belt?

Thanks!

Good question I was wondering myself a while back when I did a motor swap for my friend and went to put new belt on his and the damn z6 belt was way bigger so we just said the hell with it and put oem one back on..

If the z6 is too big then I think the VX would work the best. I think it is a couple teeth smaller.

VX = 103T
Z6 = 104T
D15B7/D16Z6 = 106T

Local at the part numbers on the current timing belt, it should list the xxxT for reference
