I just purchased another crx.It is a 1988 crx si.It still has the stock 1.6.The other crx I have is a 1990 crx si and it has a d15b vtec motor in it.The vtec is not hooked up on the d15b but I am working on that.I am getting ready to build one of these for a turbo build. The question is which one should I build?I know the d15b is supposed to have more power from the factory but would the 1.6 be better since it is already bigger displacement?

I'm bias cause I'm not a fan of vtec. I'd build the 1.6.

it depends on a lot of things. like are you going to use aftermarket forged rods or not, do they even make rods for the d15b, o no wait, fjt sells 1.5 rods now. well there you go. pretty sure eagle doesn't sell 1.5 rods. so you'd have to decided if you wan't to even use fjt rods or not.

Straight out a6. You can get aftermarket 1.6l rods cheaper than the 1.5 stuff(from the few places that have them)
