Plans are getting drawn and I'm on the fence with options.

I have access to this list

Zc (jdm a6 clone if I'm not mistaken)
D16z6 w full si wire harness
Virgin p28 ecu.

Goals so far.

I'd like to build a street/strip sleeper crx
350-400 hp
As far as track times I'd be very happy to get low 12s to high 11s..
In order to keep this car sleeper I don't want to be forced to install a cage to run the 1/4. I think last I checked it's required for any 11-11.5 sec car.

RELIABILITY. I want to build her strong and be able to hit the track hard all day with her. This car will be driven to the track aswell.

So which motor? And what makes you suggest it?

Considerations from my self almost makes me want to go with a straight z6.

Helpful input is greatly appreciated.

OOOOOH ya about that, we JUST ran out of that in the "Which motor is best?" debate. Maybe try back in a week or so when we have some "helpful input" become available, KTHNXBAI!

Umm... You dont need 400whp to hit high 11's lol...
400whp isnt cheap either. Do you even have the car your gonna put the motor in? Dude you have a looooong way to go...

I prefer the A6 to keep things simple, however, I like the Z6 ports and many of the OTS (Off the Shelf) VTEC cams for turbos are very, very good. Ugh, I can't believe I'm going to recommend this, but, something with a Z6 head will be a very good start to making your power goals

A Z2 Shortblock with a Z6 Head.
I think i will be somewhere at 350whp.
But also for me there is a long time to go.

That little test should keep you occupied.

IMO z6 will do you fine..but its your decision and your money, not ours.

But you got alot of research to do and you might wanna reread your original post..you came off pretty stupid

I personally dont care to much about my rep as I use this site to SEARCH information, but some on here do care a whole bunch and they will stick both thumbs in your ass if you fuck with theirs. if you want boost why do you need VTEC.
