i have a gauge pod with 2 slots and already have an air/fuel gauge in one of the slots. what gauge would be useful to fill the other slot? i already have the fuel pressure gauge in the engine bay. i dunno which other gauge would be useful for tuning an N/A car, help me decide. Thanks.

id say an egt gauge also. just with that and a vafc i have a 13.6 af ratio.not bad considering i never used a wideband to tune before. i cant wait for my hondata

most AF ratio gauges are darn near worthless. On Hondas if you use the Autometer Af ratio gauge all it does is search and scan back and forth until you're on throttle. Which is really distracting. And a big "look at me" at night. EGT gauges are the way to go.

I am interested also. I thought these guages were more geared toward turbo tuning.

But one thing that I have found annoying is not having a voltometer. Even though you can't tune a car with it, it's always nice to have one. EGT is the way to go though i think.

not necessarily just that turbo motors run hotter so its more important. they if ur car is properly tuned it will run cooler than a motor thats not tuned.

i always thought that when running a turbo motor you wanted to keep the egt's lower to fight detonation, but with a n/a setup you can run something like 200 deg hotter egt's cause the chance for detonation is much lower when n/a. it this correct? anyone know what you want your egt's to be when running n/a, NOS, or boost?
