I'm putting a 1.5 motor in a EK chasis and I'd like to use the knock sensor. I thought I seen a how-to for something where a guy put it on the alternator bracket, but I can't find it. I've searched and I can't find any info on how to retrofit a knock sensor on an obd1 motor.

I thought I seen it on c-speedracing, but I didn't see it when I looked earlier. yeah that alternator bracket is way different on civic motors.

has anyone actually tried to drill and tap a hole for it??

easier said then done. you'd have to find a pretty big drill.

I dunno I'd really have to look and see if its possible. then if I can find the tools.
