Those rods will be fine, they are just like any other China made rod(same as Eagles except no fancy finishing). Only thing I don't like is that they do not come with rod bolts. Personally I would search around some more for ones with ARP 2000 bolts.

ACL bearings are fine and work well.

Are you looking for forged pistons? I like forged over Vitaras, but that is going to depend on your budget. SRP pistons are going to be your cheapest forged. If you want to run Vitaras, PM "fjt" on here about his sales, or just look at his threads in the Sponsors section

look into P29's. $150 for the set. there is also another brand out there i see people talking about, they say the design is better than the p29 cause of the dome the p29 has. but i hear they are hard to find? someone will chime in.

Those i-beams are the exact ones I run. Built motor, t3/t4 @ 21psi...they hold up great and are lighter than h-beams.

p29s are a good choice, but you can get away with stock rods if you are doing a simple high comp build.

yes you can use the stock rods for n/a high comp build but i would recommend putting arp rod bolts in them and having them recon'd. i think the pistons sick1camcivic is refering to are pg6's they are alot more forgiving then a p29 and abit easier to tune but they have a tiny bit less dome then a p29 so lower comp

if you use an aftermarket set of rods u will have to buy aftermarket pistons as the pin that holds the stock piston to the rod is pressed and the aftermarket rods are full floating..
imho the stock rods shot peened with PG6 pistons is the way to go
