cant be a z6 head on an a1 block unless someone got creative.

the best d series bottom end for boost is sleeved 1.6 with forged internals. :)

maybe he means a z6 head on an a6 block?

Anything in the 1.6L family is a little more stout than d15 blocks unless it has one of those FJ kits in it.

A6, Z6 and Y7/Y8 :TU:

i would avoid the y block unless u port the oil pump or get a aftermarket one(i believe toda make one.) the z6 is a solid bottom end. and a solid head to back it up. run some forged internals and your set to about 400. then u might want to consider sleeving or a block guard.

A6 with a Z6 oil pump would be the best bottom.

Z6 would be the "best" head.

just my $.02....

could i get some change?
they both use the same oil pump.

no they don't and yes they do. if you ask for the Z6 oil pump at the dealership, they will sell you the "upgraded" version that came later. same thing as the 96-00 Y7/Y8 vs the "newer version" that honda put out. hence why i listed the pump, since you will get the "upgraded" pump from honda.

btw: welcome back, try not to get banned again. ;)
