Ok I did the mini me vtec swap and no power at all just having probs with it so bye bye vtec head....well anyways what is the best stock block to turbo that will bolt right into my 90 civic hatchback? maybe a D16? Can I stroke a d16 with d15 internals and the d16 rods? any difference? I wanna push around atleast 190whp with only injectors and fmu no having to go to a shop and tune it cuz I have to go far for that...well of course a 255 fuel pump...I want some really raw power in it but then I will get it tuned for that...I want like 300+whp later with all tune...I am gonna do a custom turbo kit so let me know what the best turbo I can use for my car is and I want it to kick in hard!!(boost) well thanks for your time....

best bottom end for turbo? ANY honda engine? or d-series engine?

any honda engine that could go in ur car, probably the b18c1....

but for d-series... id say d16a6..... same rods as the z6 and those have been known to hold 200+ whp on a good tune.... and u wont have vtec to wire in....

ok that sounds good. I dont want vtec cuz boost is harder to tune with vtec....but I can get my hands on a z6 block but no head...can I just put my stock d15b head on it? I have the z6 intake manifold too and all wiring harness for the mpfi swapso with the z6 manifold and z6 block and d15b1 head? would that be an ok setup? how many psi would I have set a turbo for 200whp? I know it matters on the size of the turbo, lets just say a brandnew T3..turbo? for fuel I can just use FMU and chipped ecu for turbo...Ive read about runnin a turbo with only and fmu and 7psi of boost is that ok to run like that?

your engine setup will all bolt up fine, any d-series intake/exhaust manfold, transmission, and cylinder head (except for dohc d-series heads, without modifyiing chit.) are interchangable.

as for psi to hit 200whp, hard to tell, too many factors. for a better idea, check this

NO it has alloy with steel main caps where the others are all alloy. there has NOT been any proven differeence in using the A6 over the alloy stuff. the Z6 head ifs the best flowing head of all D motors for FI.

Im not trying to get on you dude, but it seems like you need to do a bit more research before you boost anything.

PS: FMU's suck

Z6's are strong and have good oil pumps, but doesnt the a6 have a steel crank girdle? You also have to grind away more on an a6 block than z6 for eagle rods to fit.
