D16A6 with P29's.....oh, you want to add something useless. Then go for the D16A6 with the Z6 head. :TU:

well im runing a z6 in my car now an want a little more power

an i have a a6 blox in my closet an a d15z1 also

i wanna stay n/a.



this is my first engine build/put together any help would be great thanks

well both a6 and z6 have great potential for na how ever what power range were you looking to reach...either way you decide to go you have plenty of researched to do

i have done a lil research but i wanna hear from someone who has done it them selfs

i wanna try get 150ish 160 maybe?

150-160ish is not gonna be cheap n/a.

i say keep your z6...maybe some high compression pistons, a decent cam and if your feelin' crazy throw a little spray in the equation. maybe a 50shot. that'll get you to 160ish...maybe more depending on how much spray you give it.

now if i was to put the p29s in the a6 block with teh z6 head

would i need to get rods. or anthing in that matter??

if you wanna stay n/a and get 150-160 it wont be cheap. but +1 on spray for your goals a 50 shot fogger is safe on basically any vehicle.if you build with rods, pistons, cam, some minor head work i'd say 75-100 shot it'll be more than you are lookin for but it'll be a shit ton of fun

id like to stay outta the spray, ive been looking around for pistons,rods an a cam i have a lil head work done already.

just looks like i may have to set my goals a lil lower.. haha

or you could boost and practically double your horespower for half the money :wink:

thought about that to but were im at it would be hard to get tuned or help to tune
but i do kno nothing about boost so i realy havnt made my mind up

So do you have a full A6? or just the block? I say Z6 all the way...

what would the cost be if i was to boost the z6 just wondering?

Cost differs widely! But for the hp levels you just mentioned above, you can use you totally stock motor and just boost it! So start piecing/pricing it together and there you go. Or for a great kit, look up www.go-autoworks.com

i just rememberd i have a turbo from a dsm t25 i think an posibly have a mani from one of my buddys older project .. where would be a good place to get piping an couplers*..

sorry for all the question. living in the Fl keys kindda limits me from old friends who did this with there eyes closed
