hey i got a 2000 dx(see avatar) and i`m wondering if you guys have any suggestions on how i should start my engine set up.

all my car has are intake,cams,headers,hyper medallion exhaust, coilovers;
but i want to kick it up a notch and do a head swap.

after researching, i`m starting to favor the dohc zc and y8 head swaps.

so my question is, which route should i go for?
with certain things in mind:
-most affordable
-most versatile
-easiest to work with
-most dependable
-and importantly, most horsies for my car

from what i`ve heard going with the y8 is more versatile,
but there are alot of things you have to do because of the vtec and that means more money!

or is there another set-up anyone has in mind thats better than the y8 and zc?

by the way im going for a n/a approach.

advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

i`ll get decent power and its cheap and easy to do!
thanks for your time!

of course a k swap the american way BIG, FAST and NOW. or "quick lets jump on the bandwagon" lol. it took a while to figure out what i really want and then i went full steam with my build now. so do some research, take everyone's advice w/a grain of salt. check out other members rides and try not to get ban. :TU: and remember: "opinions are like assholes, everyone has one."

You own a honda.Fast, reliable, and cheap are the options now choose two.

Seen this on here a while back and lived by it ever since.

But i would go with a y8 head then maybe a cam.
