2000 Honda Civic DX, avg. ~33 mpg. Full Tank 300-330 miles. Depends on driving style.

Max on full tank was 400 miles. But I was shifting at like 2500 RPM and skip shifting at that. 55 mph on the freeway. Yup people were definitely pissed off. lol

i'd suggest to change the poll to
below 25
26-30
31-35
36-40
41-45
46-50
above 50

My guess is 75% of people should be 31-35 on a normal d-series

Why you wasting gas like that short shifting? I hope you were in 4th gear at 55 mph....

shift at 3500, cruise at 2800-3000.

If I'm skip shifting the closer ratio box, I shift at around 3700-4000.....not a V8, gotta spin it up a bit, but using light throttle.

I'm running low compression ~8.5:1 and a big-ish turbo on a fully built Z6 running 15psi, 300ish whp.. In the summer I get a minimum of 28mpg suburban driving, 36-38ish on the highway when I'm doing 70mph or less. I have 55mph leaned out off the charts (probably close to 22:1afr), averages 53+mpg at 55. Did the same thing for 70 but haven't gotten to test it out to the point to come up with an accurate figure. It's probably low 40's. My car is pretty much a parachute at this point though but, I'm working on it. With the winter blend, I get shit MPG's.. about 25 across the board. I think a lot of it could be straightened out with some street tuning but I've just been too busy/lazy/driving as little as possible.

turbo D16y8. stock motor with DSM injectors tuned on ECtune. I get right around 30 around town. usually in the 30-32 region.

The best gas mileage I have ever achieved was 39 mpg in this car. That was with the turbo, and a DX transmission, cruising at 75mph on a road trip. I probably could have got over 40 if I wasn't driving so fast. the motor was revving a little over 2500rpm if i remember correctly? I've since put the regular y8 trans back in and no longer get such great mileage on the highway.
