first off im sorry but i have no pics but am going to try and explain in detail. on my crx there is an empty box on the back of the block that is under the intake but up and to the right of the fuel filter, it has a hose going from it to a male end going into one of the runners in the intake. What is this box. i think it is something for like blow by or something. im just wondering because the hose was stopped up and the male end in the intake has some sort of release method to it where while its running its open but if you stick your finger over it it pulls the door up and stuts it off. can i just cap this off and keep all of that junk out of my engine?

it's the breather box, that's where your pcv valve goes. if you don't want crankcase ventilation, then yea, you not use it. i don't recommend not using it unless maybe for a turbo app with better ventilation system installed.
